Bill Zabriskie

Under the pen name of Cheyenne he is an original American artist, in the tradition of Frederic Remington, yet he possesses a style uniquely his own. Cheyenne's love of art, the outdoors, and the sport of rodeo began at an early age. In his youth he worked breaking mustangs in the Owyhee mountains bordering Idaho and Oregon. It was there that his love for horses and the great outdoors took root. This love for horses carried Cheyenne into the rodeo circuit of the Northwest where he was born and raised, after a bad fall Cheyenne left the active rodeo circuit to minister to the Native Americans. At the age of 37 Cheyenne's burning desire to develop his artistic talent really took off. His desire to put on paper the life experiences and images so passionately imprinted in his heart have produced the sensitivity Cheyenne has for people, places, animals, and sights of a truly American heritage.
